Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Deal Alerts for eBay ("the Service"), operated by HAM Technologies, LLC ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Deal Alerts for eBay is a deal-monitoring tool. We query eBay's public Browse API on your behalf to find listings matching criteria you save, and notify you via email and push notification.

We are an independent service. We are not owned by, operated by, or endorsed by eBay Inc. We participate in the eBay Partner Network and may earn commissions when users make qualifying purchases through links in our deal alerts (see Section 5).

2. Your account

To use the Service, you must:

• Be at least 13 years old
• Provide accurate registration information
• Keep your account credentials secure
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account use

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Subscriptions

The Service offers paid subscription plans (Basic, Pro, Enterprise) with different alert quotas. Pricing is shown on the pricing page and may vary by platform.

3.1 Free trial

New subscribers may be offered a 14-day free trial. The trial converts to a paid subscription automatically at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before the trial ends.

3.2 Auto-renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You may cancel at any time before the next renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period.

3.3 How to cancel

• Web subscriptions: through the Lemon Squeezy customer portal (link in your account settings)
• iOS subscriptions: through Apple's Subscriptions screen in iOS Settings
• Android subscriptions: through Google Play's Subscriptions screen

After cancellation, you retain access until the end of the current paid period.

3.4 Refunds

Refund policies follow the platform you subscribed through:

• Lemon Squeezy: refunds granted at our discretion. Contact [email protected].
• Apple App Store: subject to Apple's refund policy at reportaproblem.apple.com.
• Google Play: subject to Google's refund policy.

3.5 Price changes

We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice via email. You may cancel before any new price takes effect.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate the Service beyond your subscription tier's alert quota
• Resell or redistribute alert data to third parties
• Use the Service to harass, defraud, or harm others
• Bypass technical limits or access restrictions

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. eBay listings and deals

• We display data from eBay's public Browse API. Listing accuracy, availability, and pricing depend on eBay.
• We do not guarantee any specific listing will match your criteria, remain available, or be a "good deal" in your judgment.
• All purchases happen on eBay's website — you transact directly with eBay sellers, not with us.
• We are not responsible for issues with eBay listings, sellers, or transactions.

Affiliate disclosure: We participate in the eBay Partner Network. Links to eBay listings in our deal alerts include affiliate tracking parameters. When you make a qualifying purchase through these links, we may earn a commission from eBay at no additional cost to you. See our Privacy Policy (Section 5) for what data is shared with eBay through these links (no personal identifying information).

6. Intellectual property

The Service (software, design, branding) is our property. You retain ownership of any content you create, such as your saved search criteria. You grant us a limited license to process that content as needed to operate the Service.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time via account settings or by emailing [email protected].

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if required by law.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ALERTS WILL BE TIMELY OR ACCURATE.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
